Alzheimer's Aide Grants
The State of Connecticut, through the five Area Agencies on Aging, provides funding to subsidize the costs of Alzheimer’s Aides in Adult Day Care Centers. The grants may be used to pay the salary, fringe benefits and training costs for these aides. This funding is specifically targeted towards improving care and access to care for individuals afflicted with Alzheimer’s or related dementias.
Any existing municipal, proprietary, or nonprofit ADC is eligible to apply for this grant. Funding is awarded based on the State Fiscal Year (July 1 to June 30).
Applications for Alzheimer’s Aide funding for year starting July 1, 2024 are due by APRIL 15, 2024 (we are only accepting electronic copies at this time: grants@aoascc.org) by 4 p.m.
